Matt Piantedosi enters his fourth year at MIT, following a five-year tenure as part of fellow NEWMAC member Babson College’s Sports Medicine staff.
With the Engineers, he primarily coordinates care for men’s and women’s cross-country, squash, softball and men’s tennis. He also assists in coordinating access and care of the Club Sports Athletic Training Office Hours clinic, which begins its second year of service. He is also an approved preceptor for Boston University’s athletic training education program.
Prior to joining the Babson Sports Medicine staff, Piantedosi was a resident-assistant athletic trainer at Boston College from 2007-10 primarily working with football and the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams. While at BC, he also attained his Master of Science in Administration through the Father Woods College of Advancing Studies.
Piantedosi is a 2007 graduate of Springfield College with a B.S. in athletic training. He is a certified Athletic Trainer, Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2007.
