Men’s Fencing Picks Up Two Wins at Brandeis Invitational

- The Lead: For the second year in a row, the MIT men's fencing team generated a 2-3 record at the Brandeis University Invitational held on Sunday. The Engineers defeated the University of Incarnate Word (17-10) and Cornell University (23-4), but fell to St. John's University (16-11), University of North Carolina (17-10), and Yale University (20-7). Sophomore Nyle Sykes (Greenwood Village, Colo.) led the epee squad with a 10-3 mark while first-year Christopher Kiel (Whitehouse Station, N.J.) paced the foil unit with a 10-5 ledger. First-year Aaron Lu (Belmont, Calif.) turned in the best performance for the sabre contingent as he went 8-7.
