  • Women's Swimming and Diving Picks Up 171-115 Win Over Springfield

    The No. 6 MIT women's swimming and diving team won 11 of 16 contested events yesterday afternoon as the Engineers earned their first win of 2018 and topped Springfield College, 171-115, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) dual meet in Cambridge.

    In the first-ever meeting between the two teams, Division I Yale University topped MIT in women's swimming and diving action by a final score of 196-81 as today marked the season opener for the Engineers.
  • No. 6 Women's Swimming and Diving Tops NEWMAC Preseason Poll

    Westwood, Mass. (October 27) – In the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women’s swimming and diving preseason coaches’ poll, which was released by the league this morning, the No. 6 nationally-ranked MIT women’s swimming and diving team was picked the win the conference championship for the ninth straight year. The Engineers earned nine of a possible ten first place votes, with each head coach not allowed to vote for their own team. MIT will be under the direction of fourth-year head coach Dani Korman.
  • MIT Swimming and Diving Releases 2018-19 Schedule

(October 16) – The MIT men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs have released their schedules for the 2018-19 season which will feature five home dual meets, the annual three-day Winter Invitational and the 2019 NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional.   • "Where Are They Now": Jonathan Goler '04 Continuing To Make Waves

    Jonathan Goler ?04 is an MIT graduate from Course 6-3, Computer Science and Engineering. After five years of swimming (he redshirted his Senior year so he could swim M.Eng), Goler went out to California to pursue his PhD in Biological Engineering from the University of California - Berkeley.
  • MIT Swimming and Diving Adds 23 For 2018-19 Season

    Cambridge, Mass. (July 24) – A combined 23 incoming freshmen – 13 women and 10 men - will be added to the MIT men's and women's swimming and diving teams this fall, as announced by Mary Frances Wagley '47 Head Coach Dani Korman earlier this week.
