Cambridge, Mass. (March 12) -- The MIT Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER) today announced that it has entered into a multi-year partnership with NIKE through BSN SPORTS. The agreement, which will commence in April 2021, is part of BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select program, which aims to make BSN SPORTS a one-stop provider for all collegiate athletic, intramural, club and staff apparel and equipment to all D1, DII, D3, NJCAA and NAIA schools.
The agreement includes numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing and promotional opportunities.

BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select will partner with the company's key vendors to provide apparel and equipment to colleges and universities across the country.
MIT and DAPER boast one of the largest intercollegiate athletic programs in the nation with 33 intercollegiate teams, including 29 NCAA Division III programs and four NCAA Division I crew teams. In addition, the department is home to Physical Education and Wellness, Recreation, Club Sports and Intramurals and serves the entire MIT community.
MIT has claimed the last six New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Presidents Cups, as well as six men's Presidents Cups between 2012-13 and 2018-19. The Engineers are also consistently ranked among the top 10 in the nation in the Division III Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings, including an Institute-best second-place finish in 2018 as MIT won a league-record 14 NEWMAC titles.
