• The MIT Athletic Training Services unit is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare possible. The unit’s expertise focuses on the prevention, treatment, evaluation, rehabilitation, and emergency care for athletic related injuries and illnesses.
  • Our staff of athletic trainers (ATs) consists of seven full-time, one graduate assistant, and two part-time professionals who join us on occasion throughout a typical week. Each staff member is;
    • Certified by the Board of Certification and
    • Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Health.
  • The AT staff work under the direction and supervision of the team physicians, Dr. Shawn Ferullo and Dr. Angeline Elliott, was well as in conjunction with other providers from MIT Medical
    • Dr. Ferullo, M.D. is the Chief of Sports Medicine and Orthopedics as well as the Chief of Student Health at MIT Medical. His background is in Family Medicine with a specialization in Sports Medicine.
    • Dr. Elliott, D.O, has a background in Family Medicine with a specialization in Sports Medicine.

        • Participants receiving care for concussions will receive priority.

        • This system shall be used to request single appointments only.
        • To ensure that all participants and all programs have access, we may limit the number of slots made available to any individual and/or a team.
      • Participants on in-season teams
        • Appointments for off-season or non-traditional season participants may be “bumped.”
      • Staff availability
        • Your appointment may be shifted to another staff member’s schedule.
        • Changes related to a staff member’s other duties may occur.
