- The Lead: Led by six players in double figures and 58.7 percent shooting from the field, the No. 11 ranked MIT men's basketball team ran its winning streak to four straight with a 97-54 home victory over Pine Manor.


- Leading from the outset, the Engineers jumped out to a 18-4 advantage over the first six minutes, capped by a three-pointer from senior Cameron Korb (Los Gatos, Calif.). MIT led by as many as 17 at 41-24 following a layup by senior Tim Roberts (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) before the Gators and Jamel Hamans scored the last four points of the period to send the game to the half at 41-28.

- Inbounding the ball with 1.6 seconds left, Hamans caught a pass from Keith Brown and launched a buzzer-beating three to end the period.

- Leading 54-38 with 16:03 left, the Engineers embarked on a 27-5 run over a period of 8:04 to stretch the advantage out to 38 at 81-43. MIT also ended the game on a 15-5 scoring spurt over the final 6:49, en route to the 43-point victory in the first-ever meeting between the teams.


- This marks the first time since the 2011-12 season that the Engineers have reached the 90-point plateau in three straight games.

- Korb led the Engineers with 18 points on six three-pointers, while senior AJ Jurko (Weston, Fla.) nearly finished with a double-double with 14 points and nine assists. Roberts added 14 points and seven rebounds, along with 12 points each from sophomore Ian Hinkley (Raleigh, N.C.) and senior Bradley Jomard (Paris, France). In addition, senior Dakota Pierce (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) added 11 points off the bench.

- Sayvonn Houston was the top scorer for Pine Manor with 15 points as he was joined in double figures by Hamans with 15 points.

- The Engineers held a commanding 44-24 rebounding advantage, including 32-15 on the defensive glass. MIT also scored 48 points in the paint while forcing 18 Pine Manor turnovers. In addition, MIT had 22 assists on 37 made field goals.


- MIT returns to action at home on Saturday, December 1st as the Engineers host Lasell College for a 3 p.m. non-conference contest.
