Jordan Roldan begins his third season as an assistant coach for the MIT men’s volleyball program in 2020.

Roldan, who was a four-year student-athlete on the men’s volleyball team at Ramapo College from 2004-07, brings his playing and coaching experience to Cambridge. While at Ramapo, Roldan led the Roadrunners to three ECAC Championship titles and made a pair of appearances in the NECVA Tournament. Additionally, Roldan has coached at the Beantown Volleyball Club in Newton and is an Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) athlete.

Roldan currently holds a position as a school counselor for the Cambridge Public School system. Prior to that Roldan was the head varsity volleyball coach, Co-Director of Strength and Conditioning and School Counselor of Grades 7-12 at Boston College High School in Dorchester. He is also the owner and coaching manager at Crossfit 617 Inc.

Roldan also served as the head coach for the Warren Sixpak Volleyball Club from 2007-11 where he coached multiple teams that earned bids to the USAV Junior National Championship.

Roldan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ramapo College and went on to receive his Masters of Education degree in School Counseling and his Post Masters Certificate in School Counseling from Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey. He also completed his Masters of Post-Secondary and Higher Education degree from Columbia University.
