Women’s Basketball Collects Seven NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Awards

Westwood, Mass. (June 22) – The MIT women's basketball team collected seven NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team selections as announced by the league on Tuesday. The list is comprised of 62 student-athletes who earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or 4.35 on a 5.0 scale after the 2021 spring semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution and have been a member of the team for the entire semester.

Sarah Moseson '21 (Morristown, N.J.) and rising seniors Christina Antonakakis (Holmdel, N.J.), Anna Broski (Stillman Valley, Ill.), Karenna Groff (Weston, Mass.), and Paula Pieper (Greenville, S.C.) were repeat honorees. Meanwhile, rising sophomores Trinity Gao (Sunnyvale, Calif.) and Sienna Williams (Clarksburg, Md.) represented the Engineers on the list for the first time.
