Women's Openweight Crew Places 16 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

Center Valley, Pa. (June 30) -- As announced by the Patriot League office, the MIT women's openweight crew team had 16 student-athletes named to the league's Academic Honor Roll. Overall, the league honored 358 student-athletes for women's rowing.

To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.

Five members of the MIT program posted a 5.0 GPA on the Institute's 5.0 grading scale and 69 student-athletes in total finished with a perfect GPA among the Patriot League member rowing schools.
