Women’s Lacrosse Leads NEWMAC With Program-Record 19 Academic All-Conference Team Selections

Westwood, Mass. (June 29) – The MIT women's lacrosse team led the NEWMAC with a program-record 19 student-athletes earning a spot on the Academic All-Conference Team, shattering the previous mark of 12 that was established in 2019 and tied last year. The list is comprised of 86 student-athletes who earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or 4.35 on a 5.0 scale after the 2021 spring semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution and been a member of the team for the entire semester.

Joyce Noh '21 and Allison Pinto '21 received their third award while rising seniors Elena Boal (Princeton, N.J.), Ali Hoffman (Port Washington, N.Y.), Naomi Lutz (Northbrook, Ill.), Christine Padalino (Potomac, Md.), Katie Pelton (Wayne, Pa.), Natalia Perez-Lodeiro (Houston, Texas), Kiely Smiga-McManus (Etna, N.H.), and Shannon Wing (Westfield, Mass.) were repeat honorees. Rising sophomores Grace Ann Carlson (Charleston, S.C.), Sophia DiSabato (San Francisco, Calif.), Paige Forester (Glencoe, Ill.)Lindsey Gambino (Garden City, N.Y.)Delaney Goetz (Rockville, Md.), Abigail Kolyer (Manhasset, N.Y.), Trudy Painter (Vienna, Va.), Ellie Rabenold (Cincinnati, Ohio), and Emma Tauckus (Manhasset, N.Y.) made the list for the first time.
